Our Story

The Pawlight Project was created in memory of Stella - our loyal, protective, frisbee-loving German Shepherd who filled our home with love for six amazing years

Stella was more than a dog - she was family. Every morning, my dad made her scrambled eggs. Every night, she'd rest her head on my knee as I watched TV. She had this way of knowing exactly when we needed her - like the day I cried outside, and she came over and she gently nudged my hand with her head until my hand was resting on her head, as if she was saying "pet me... It's okay." 

When she passed from lymphoma, it left a hole in our hearts - but her light never faded. This project keeps her spirit alive and honors every dog who's given their family that same unconditional love.
